Who we are

BlindSpot Barometer operates this platform. These terms govern your use of it, and by creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them.

The service

BlindSpot Barometer provides a marketplace through which you can discover and purchase assessments. The assessments themselves are created and delivered by third-party providers, who are responsible for their content, scoring and any results they produce.

We are responsible for the marketplace: the catalogue, your purchase, your access to what you bought, and your history with us.

Assessments are not professional advice

Assessment results are intended to prompt reflection. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial or career advice, they are not a diagnosis, and they must not be relied on as a substitute for a qualified professional.

Nothing you read in a result should delay you from seeking professional help. If you are in distress or in crisis, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency service.

Do not use assessment results as the sole basis for a decision that materially affects someone, including hiring, promotion, admission or dismissal.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account and buy from us.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to it.

The information you give us when registering must be accurate, and you must keep it current.

Pricing and payment

Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are the amount charged at checkout. The price shown at the moment you pay is the price that applies.

Payments are processed by Paystack. We never see or store your card details. Your purchase is confirmed only once Paystack confirms the payment to us directly — reaching a success page in your browser does not by itself grant anything.

If a payment does not complete, nothing is charged and no access is granted.

Purchases and access

All purchases are one-time transactions. Access to a purchased assessment is granted once payment has been confirmed and remains available in your account.

Where an assessment must be prepared for you specifically, you will be asked for the information the provider needs, and access is released once that preparation is complete.

Access is granted to you. Enterprise customers may assign eligible assessments to named recipients through the sharing features provided, subject to the allocation included in their purchase.

Acceptable use

You may not attempt to access assessments you have not purchased, share or resell access credentials, circumvent any access control, scrape the catalogue, or interfere with the operation of the platform.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to do so by law. Where we close an account for our own convenience rather than for a breach, we will refund any purchase you have not been able to use.

Third-party providers and availability

Assessments are delivered by third-party providers, and their availability depends on those providers. If a provider withdraws an assessment you have bought and you have not yet used it, contact us and we will put it right.

We aim to keep the platform available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may take it down for maintenance.

Changes to the catalogue

Assessments and bundles may be added, changed, repriced or withdrawn from sale. Changes to the catalogue do not affect assessments you have already purchased, and a price change never applies retrospectively to a completed order.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or decisions you or anyone else takes on the basis of an assessment result.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

Changes never apply retrospectively to a purchase you have already made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes relating to them fall to the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This does not remove any protection available to you as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
